Introduction: “Mission US: For Crown or Colony?” is a First Person Role Playing game where the player will control Nathaniel Wheeler “Nat” during several days of his apprenticeship from Februrary 21, 1770 to March 6, 1770; navigating the tensions between colonists and loyalists to the Crown. The Basics: Mission US was produced by WNET THIRTEEN Productions L.L.C. and funded for Corporation for Public Broadcasting and National Endowment for the Humanities. Made for computers (PC /Mac) and free to the public, this game makes good use of its playable age and is easy to access for a wide range of audience. As a 14 year old boy living in the colonies, you are a temporary apprentice trying to find his place in the world. It is up to the player to decide what path Nat will choose after witnessing the Boston Massacre; what makes this game unique is its ability to convey multiple sides to a difficult problem of the time.
